        RATES  & PAYMENT
 

☛ FREE INTRO Session, to see if we are compatible

✧ Sliding scale : $90 - $120 per 50-minute session, depending on your income

✧ Cash, check or PayPal accepted

Insurance - None





           SESSIONS 
 

 
✧ Office Hours:  Monday - Friday,  2 pm - 11 pm.  Weekends: if an emergency & only by phone  

✧ Sessions are usually scheduled for once a week, but  whenever possible, twice weekly is suggested, to speed up the process.  Fees can be adjusted accordingly, if neccessary.

✧ For NEW CLIENTS - a 3 month commitment is recommended to see if this therapy is suited to you.

✧ For anyone with financial limitations or when clients have less need, every other week is acceptable


     
          
         CANCELLATION  
               & MAKE-UP POLICY


✧ If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

 ✧ If you call 24 hrs in advance that you can't make it, I will schedule you for a make-up session within the following 4 weeks, as time permits. If you cannot do the make-up in that time, you're responsible for payment.

 ✧ VACATIONS: If you are away for 1 - 4 weeks, you are asked to schedule make-up sessions, before or after your time away.      Longer than that would be considered a break in the therapy work.  You would always be welcome to return, as space permits.  
   

 

                CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.


Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse,  which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission which are provided to me by law, in order to ensure their safety.
  • If a client threatens serious bodily harm to myself, I will notify the police.
